SURROUNDINGS
The house is located in Štinjan, a small village close to Pula. In fact it is a part of the Pula municipality which means there is access to the Pula bus system (150 meters to bus stop). Also the city of Pula takes care of garbage pick up and other city functions.
It is quiet place which is popular with tourists in the summer. We have a small grocer close by (100 meters) which is open every day. Sometimes there are musical performances on the little square.

Beach Life
The entire coast of Istria is accessible to the public and has beautiful stoney beaches and crystal clear water. Below are som of the near by beaches we enjoy.
Beach Kanalić
This is our closest beach, only 850 meters away, which is reached by foot through a shaded tunnel. It is also the best beach if you ask us, but don't tell anyone:)
Beach Hidrobaza
Long beach with amenities like toilets, showers, beach bars etc. Close enough to walk (1,5 km) but also accessible by bus nr 5 from Stinjan. Best time to go is just before sunset.
Beach Valbandon
A little further away, but still within walking distance, is Valbandon. A little less crowded than Hidrobaza, but still very kid friendly and it also has the benefit of a beautiful "pineta", a pine tree forest, next to it, offering beautiful shade om hot days.
